A small quiet fridge that works hard
This is a compact 46 litre fridge from Schmick with a solid black door and a black moulded interior. It runs on R600 gas with cyclopentane foam insulation, carries a 4 star energy rating, and uses a cold plate rather than a fan, so it stays quiet at 39 dB.

Building it in? Your cavity needs to be at least 470 mm wide, 570 mm deep and 520 mm high, leaving 20 mm each side, 100 mm at the back and 20 mm on top for ventilation. Built in with the right ventilation, it runs quieter, cools better and lasts longer.
