This Schmick mini fridge is moulded to look like a golf ball, finished with a chrome retro handle and a bottle opener built into the door. You can add your own name or wording to the design, which makes it a popular gift for a golfer. Schmick produces more than 35,000 of this model a year.
At 46 litres it holds 38 cans across one large shelf and one half shelf, so it suits a home bar or games room rather than a main kitchen fridge. It's built for indoor use, with a tropical rating that keeps it chilling in ambient temperatures from 10°C to 32°C. Two adjustable feet let it sit level, and if you'd rather skip the retro handle and opener, a plain black door is available instead.

Building it in? Your cavity needs to be at least 470 mm wide, 570 mm deep and 520 mm high, leaving 20 mm each side, 100 mm at the back and 20 mm on top for ventilation. Built in with the right ventilation, it runs quieter, cools better and lasts longer.
