Cold drinks with a colour-changing light show
This Rhino bar fridge swaps the usual single-colour glow for LED lighting you can change with a remote control, cycling through colours and patterns including a strobe effect. Underneath the light show sit the parts that matter: a GMCC compressor, German and Taiwanese EC fans, and dual-glazed LOW-E glass doors with argon gas between the panes to keep condensation off.
Built along commercial lines for pubs and clubs, it is just as suited to a mancave or entertaining area, indoors or undercover outside. Two lockable doors open onto a mirror-polished stainless steel interior with four adjustable, no-topple shelves, holding 240 cans across 208 litres.

Building it in? Your cavity needs to be at least 920 mm wide, 550 mm deep and 850 mm high, leaving 10 mm each side, 50 mm at the back and 10 mm on top for ventilation. Built in with the right ventilation, it runs quieter, cools better and lasts longer.
What it costs to run. Left on all year, it uses about 734 kWh (2.01 kWh a day). At 30c per kWh that is roughly $220 a year. Your own rate is on your power bill.
