This Schmick bar fridge vents from the front, so it can be built into a cavity under the bench without a gap at the sides for airflow. The heated glass door has a lock and a switchable LED light, running on Schmick's ECO controller to keep energy use low, while the inner fan pulls the temperature down quickly and quietly.
With 164 litres of space across three heavy duty, fully adjustable shelves, it holds up to 175 cans. It suits an indoor spot or an enclosed, covered outdoor area, such as a kitchen, bar or alfresco space. The interior is polished mirror stainless steel, with a matte black body and black grille.

Building it in? Your cavity needs to be at least 570 mm wide, 636 mm deep and 885 mm high, leaving 10 mm each side, 50 mm at the back and 10 mm on top for ventilation. Built in with the right ventilation, it runs quieter, cools better and lasts longer.
What it costs to run. Left on all year, it uses about 445 kWh (1.22 kWh a day), or about 719 kWh with the heated glass switched on. At 30c per kWh that is roughly $134 a year. Your own rate is on your power bill.
