A lockable glass-door fridge for under the bench
The Schmick SK126R-HD is a 132 litre under bench fridge with a heated, lockable glass door and three fully adjustable heavy duty shelves that hold up to 121 cans. Front venting lets it sit flush into a cavity, while the Schmick ECO controller and quiet running rear and inner fans keep noise down to 43 dB. Inside is a polished 304 stainless interior, finished outside in matte black with a 304 stainless grille.
It suits an indoor or outdoor enclosed space under cover, sitting on four adjustable feet with the door right-hinged and the handle on the left. LED lighting switches between white and blue with one push, and the shelves adjust to suit however you load it. The heated door can be switched on to stop condensation forming in humid weather, using 2.15 kWh per 24 hours when it's running.

Building it in? Your cavity needs to be at least 515 mm wide, 636 mm deep and 850 mm high, leaving 10 mm each side, 50 mm at the back and 10 mm on top for ventilation. Built in with the right ventilation, it runs quieter, cools better and lasts longer.
What it costs to run. Left on all year, it uses about 442 kWh (1.21 kWh a day), or about 785 kWh with the heated glass switched on. At 30c per kWh that is roughly $133 a year. Your own rate is on your power bill.
