This Schmick two door fridge runs on heated, triple glazed glass doors that stop condensation from forming, so the view through to your drinks stays clear. Inside, quiet running fans circulate air quickly for a fast pull-down to temperature, and the Schmick ECO controller keeps running costs low. It's rated to cool to zero degrees even when the room reaches 38°C and above.
Front venting means it can be built neatly into a cavity under the bench, indoors or outdoors as long as it's under cover. Behind the two lockable doors sit four adjustable, heavy duty shelves and a polished mirror stainless interior, finished outside in matte black with a stainless steel grille.

Building it in? Your cavity needs to be at least 890 mm wide, 636 mm deep and 885 mm high, leaving 10 mm each side, 50 mm at the back and 10 mm on top for ventilation. Built in with the right ventilation, it runs quieter, cools better and lasts longer.
What it costs to run. Left on all year, it uses about 836 kWh (2.29 kWh a day), or about 1,281 kWh with the heated glass switched on. At 30c per kWh that is roughly $251 a year. Your own rate is on your power bill.
