Chipboard Screws | Partial Thread, Phillips Head
A precision-engineered fastener built for high-clamping performance in chipboard, MDF, and solid timber cabinetry.
These partial thread chipboard screws are manufactured to deliver consistent pull-out resistance across a range of substrate densities. The partial thread engages only the receiving material — not the clamped piece — creating a tight draw between components without thread interference. The Phillips drive profile allows controlled torque application with standard power tools, reducing cam-out risk during high-volume assembly. Available in G8 (Ø4.2mm), G9 (Ø4.5mm), and G10 (Ø4.8mm) gauges across lengths from 28mm to 100mm, with bulk box quantities suited to trade and production use.
Materials & Finish
- Carbon steel construction with corrosion-resistant surface treatment
- Partial thread profile for superior clamping force between joined panels
- Sharp self-tapping point for clean entry into chipboard and MDF without pre-drilling
- Phillips head (PH2) drive for compatibility with standard power drivers
- Available in G8 (Ø4.2mm), G9 (Ø4.5mm), and G10 (Ø4.8mm) gauges
What Works Well With It
Suited to flat-pack and site-assembled cabinetry where panel-to-panel clamping integrity is critical — particularly 16–18mm melamine-faced chipboard and moisture-resistant MDF used in kitchen and bathroom joinery. The G8 gauge is well-matched to standard carcass assembly; G10 is preferred for structural connections in heavier frameless cabinet systems. Pairs with cam-lock fittings and dowel systems in modular furniture production lines.
