$22.56

A full-extension concealed runner engineered for controlled, silent drawer closure in high-use cabinetry environments.

Built from high-grade zinc-coated steel, this undermount runner delivers consistent 30kg load performance across residential and light commercial applications. The integrated soft-close mechanism absorbs kinetic energy at the final 30mm of travel, eliminating slam and reducing long-term wear on drawer boxes and face frames. What Works Well With It

Suited to frameless (European-style) cabinet construction where a flush, hardware-free interior is a design priority. Pairs cleanly with lacquered, veneer, or solid timber drawer boxes.

Drawer Runner Compatibility With Timber Drawers
Will these fit my existing standard timber drawers?
Concealed (undermount) runners require specific drawer box construction. Unlike standard side-mount runners, these sit underneath the drawer. Your drawer bottom must be recessed (usually around 12-15mm higher than the bottom edges of the sides), and the back panel needs small notches cut out for the runner to slide into. If you have standard flat-bottom drawers, these will not fit without modifying your drawer boxes.
Installing concealed runners requires high precision. The internal cabinet width and the drawer box width must be perfectly calculated and constructed (usually the internal cabinet width minus a specific deduction for the drawer). If you are comfortable with precise measurements, routing, and notching timber, it's a brilliant DIY upgrade, but it is less forgiving than slapping on basic side-mount runners.
A 30kg dynamic load rating is excellent for standard kitchen drawers, cutlery banks, wardrobes, and bathroom vanities. For context, 30kg easily covers the weight of a solid timber drawer box plus a full load of dinner plates or pantry items. However, if you are building a massive 900mm-wide pot drawer to hold cast-iron Dutch ovens, you might want to step up to a heavy-duty 50kg+ runner.
Aesthetics and cleanliness. Standard side-mount runners leave ugly, greasy metal tracks visible on the sides of your drawers when opened. Concealed runners are completely hidden underneath, giving your cabinetry a premium, bespoke look. As a bonus, it makes the smooth timber sides of your drawers incredibly easy to wipe clean.
Because the hardware sits underneath the drawer box rather than on the sides, you do lose about 15mm-20mm of vertical clearance inside the cabinet per drawer compared to side-mounted options. You need to factor this into your cabinet layout to ensure your tallest items (like large spice jars or mugs) will still clear the drawer above them.
One of the best features of this system is the quick-release functionality. You simply reach under the front corners of the drawer, squeeze the locking triggers, and lift the drawer straight off the runners. You can pull the whole drawer out to retrieve lost items or do a deep clean, then simply click it back onto the tracks when you're done.
