A slimline home for 135 bottles

This upright wine fridge holds 135 bottles on a patented rubber sliding saddle shelf system, so bottles of any size sit on the shelving without touching each other. It runs on Noctua fans and a Jiaxipera compressor, and cools to 1°C even when the room around it reaches 38°C. The triple glazed LOW E glass door is lockable and helps prevent condensation.

Front venting means it can build into a cavity, with four adjustable feet and a left-hinge door that opens with the handle on the right. It's designed for indoor use, and the lock keeps the contents secure. A matching beer fridge, model BD425B, is available if you want the two side by side.

Building it in? Your cavity needs to be at least 675 mm wide, 845 mm deep and 1840 mm high, leaving 40 mm each side, 150 mm at the back and 40 mm on top for ventilation. Built in with the right ventilation, it runs quieter, cools better and lasts longer.
What it costs to run. Left on all year, it uses about 453 kWh (1.24 kWh a day). At 30c per kWh that is roughly $136 a year. Your own rate is on your power bill.
