Cut from premium Hoop Pine and kiln-dried for dimensional stability, these biscuits are pressed at an angle to the grain — a deliberate construction choice that resists splitting and shearing under load. Each biscuit is slightly compressed during manufacture; contact with PVA glue causes the timber to swell within the slot, creating a tight, friction-locked join. An impressed glue track on each face ensures even adhesive distribution throughout the slot.
