The Block Timber Handles
A sculptural timber handle that celebrates natural grain, artisan craftsmanship and the quiet luxury of true handmade design.
Originally created for Stephen and Gian’s celebrated kitchen on The Block 2023, the Block Handle has since become a signature piece within the TouchMade collection. Each handle is handmade in the Macedon Ranges, shaped from American Oak with a clean vertical grain that brings warmth, texture and architectural presence to any interior. No two pieces are ever the same; each showcases the subtle variations, organic markings and natural beauty of timber, transforming a practical detail into a crafted design statement.
With a refined palette of finishes, the Block Handle can be tailored to suit contemporary, coastal or classic spaces. Choose from Walnut Stained, Clear Coated, Ebony Stained or Raw American Oak — the raw finish offering complete creative freedom to stain, seal or paint in any colour. Designed for versatility, the handle suits hinged doors, sliding doors, drawers and pantry applications, with custom sizing available for bespoke joinery projects. Touch-up wax satchels and clean surface-mount installation ensure lasting ease of use and maintenance.
